The Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) announced Monday that it will host the Special Court for Sierra Leone’s (SCSL) trial of former Liberian President Charles Taylor beginning 17 May 2010.
The SCSL will be relocating from the International Criminal Court’s (ICC) courtroom in The Hague.

A Memorandum of Understanding was completed between the STL and the SCSL which made the move possible. Under the agreement, the SCSL will pay for all trial-related costs.
