ImageShe’s battled and continues to fight breast cancer, and she’s seen what the view is like from the top of the music game. In recent years she has felt what it’s like to live as an artist in the age of the digital (and often illegal) download, a phenomenon she fully embraces as long as her fans get to hear her music.

Produced with the help of longtime collaborator Doug Fury, the Vancouver-based rocker’s latest album, Bif Naked Forever: Acoustic Hits & Other Delights (out Dec. 4), is an opportunity for her fans to rediscover some of her best-known songs (“Lucky,” “Spaceman”) the way they were originally written. The album also contains three new songs, two of which were co-written with the help of Ryan Stewart, who has worked with the likes of Carly Rae Jepsen and Victoria Duffield.
